New partnership with Saint-Petersburg State University in Russia

On July 11th in St. Petersburg, Russia, a comprehensive exchange agreement for student mobility and research collaboration between Keio and Saint-Petersburg State University was signed at the Constantine Royal Palace. Both President Anzai and Saint-Petersburg State Vice Rector Igor V. Murin also participated in the 3rd Japan-Russia IT/Business Strategy Conference to promote information technology development in Russia.
Saint-Petersburg State University was founded in 1724 and is a major Russian centre of science, education and culture. The university’s Department of Japanese Studies is well respected throughout the country.
