Keio Chutobu Junior High School
Keio Junior High School started in 1947 as the first co-educational intermediate school in the Keio system. The school's philosophy is to approach education in a manner that reaches beyond the narrow confines of the school walls and socializes students at an early age so that they may succeed in society. Unlike at other Keio schools, students here do not have to wear a uniform. Prohibitions are kept to a minimum in order to foster respect for individuality and the independence of the students.
